Thursday Night Ladies Bible Study

Join other women for scripture-based study and fellowship every Thursday night at 7:00 pm, September—May. Studies will change as they work through the many seasons of life. This group is open to any and all women.

Below is a list of all of the 2026/2027 books this group will be using.

September 3, 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8, & 15.    Note: Banana Pudding Making is on October 8 (as of right now).
We begin September 3 with introductions and a video opening up the study. No prior homework other than purchasing your book.

“Learn spiritual growth practices for your daily life that remove your own anxious striving and center you on the One who was never worried about a thing.
People describe Jesus in a lot of different ways, but have you ever thought of Him as relaxed? This doesn’t mean that Jesus didn’t grieve or become angry, but the Gospels portray Him as never in a hurry to be anywhere other than where He was, trusting and obeying His Father.
Could the same be said of you? Are you relaxed? You can be. We long to know peace, purpose, and contentment, but life’s stresses, the world’s discouragements, and our own striving for growth often get in the way.”

Angels: Finding Hope in God Who Reigns over Heaven and Earth– 8 Week Study

October 22, 29, November 5, 12, 19, December 3, 10, 17. Note, we will not meet on November 26 (Thanksgiving)
We begin October 22 with introductions and a video opening up the study. No prior homework other than purchasing your book.
“The Bible speaks of angels often. They were present in the garden of Eden, and throughout the story of the Bible they appear to people with messages, encouragement, and tangible help. Angels ministered to Jesus after His temptation and before His crucifixion, and they shared the good news of His resurrection. Despite their frequent appearance in God’s Word, our impression of angels is more often shaped by the myths and misconceptions that have developed over the centuries.”

Winter Break: December 24 & 31 (No Study Night)

Revelation: Eternal King, Everlasting Kingdom – 10 Week Study

January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 4, 11.
We begin January 7 with introductions and a video opening up the study. No prior homework other than purchasing your book.
Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Why don’t we see it that way?

Easter Break: March 18 & 25 (No Study Night)

IF WE HAVE WINTER WEATHER that prohibits us from meeting a night during the Revelation study, we will use March 18 as a make-up day.

Jesus and Women: In the First Century and Now – 7  Week Study

April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13.
We begin April 1 with introductions and a video opening up the study. Please purchase your book before April 1 and review the few questions at the beginning (this is not a must); these will also be emailed out.

Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.”
Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.

Table Fellowship: Dinner together on May 20.
