Stephen B. Curry Memorial Cancer Endowment Fund

We all know and love someone whose life has been impacted or ended by cancer. Now we have an opportunity to support those in need of medicine, transportation, housing and supplies throughout their illness.

On March 27, 2021, Stephen B. Curry died from leukemia. Steve lost his battle while never giving up hope, his faith in God, and his love for his family and friends. In honor of Steve and all who battle cancer, his friends, family, and colleagues have joined together to form the Stephen B. Curry Memorial Cancer Endowment Fund. Anyone may contribute to this fund which is invested by the United Methodist Foundation and administered by Soapstone UMC. In honor of Steve’s mother, Sarah Curry, a member of St. Luke’s UMC (Sanford), and in appreciation of St. Luke’s UMC as a sponsoring organization of this endowment, each church’s Mission and Outreach teams will designate the recipient organizations to receive half of each year’s proceeds. An endowment fund lasts for infinity, ensuring that your gift will live on forever while providing help to those in need.
