Graduating Seniors and Parents,We are planning to celebrate the SUMC graduates on June 11, 2023 at the 11:00 worship service. We will also have lunch for the families of seniors upstairs in Room 200 after the 11:00 worship service. During the service, each senior will be presented with a blanket, and we will ask the families of each student to join us up front to wrap your senior in the blanket as the congregation says a blessing over them. The seniors will also process into the beginning of the worship service, so please plan for them to be in the Narthex in their caps and gowns by 10:45.
After worship, please stay for lunch and celebrate together. At the suggestion of the seniors on our youth council, we will be having a potluck with each senior asked to bring a favorite dish of theirs. Please let us know with this form who is attending, and a couple other pieces of information.We will also have a slideshow of our seniors. You can include up to 10 photos, and we generally have ones all the way from baby photos to senior portraits, family photos, sports/band/club/youth group photos.
