Senior Sunday 2025 is May 18, during the 11:00 worship service at Soapstone UMC.
Let us celebrate our graduating high school seniors! Wear your cap and gown and receive a gift and a blessing from your church congregation as you prepare for the next step in your life!
Seniors will process into the 11:00 worship service in their caps and gowns together during the prelude (meet in the Narthex at 10:45) and receive a blanket at a blessing from the congregation after the sermon. Those who would like to submit photos for a slideshow during the service can do so below. Seniors and their families are also invited to join us for lunch in the Narthex after the service. At the request of the seniors on Youth Council, we will be having bruch food catered by Metro Diner.
Whether you can be present or not, we would love to get your senior their gift, list their name in the bulletin and add them to our slideshow. We would also like to make sure we have accurate contact information for them as we invite them to participate in our College Secret Pal program. Please fill out the form to help us make them a part of all these celebrations, and to give us a headcount for lunch. The link to upload photos for the slideshow is in that form, but here it is again for convenience. We’d love for you to send us up to 10 photos of your senior, from baby pictures through present for the slideshow shown during the offertory at each service.
