Project Linus
Calling Soapstone Women…join us April 25, 10 am, for a time of service and fellowship!
The Women’s Ministry team’s April event is making no-sew blankets for “Project Linus”. “Project Linus” is an organization that provides handmade blankets to children 0-18 in the United States who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. With chapters in every state, the blankets are distributed locally. All Soapstone women are invited, no matter the skill level. Our goal is to make 10 blankets in two hours.
Please sign up to let us know you’re coming. Fleece will be available.
A love offering will be used to defray costs. If you have sharp scissors on a rolling fabric cutter with plastic cutting boards, bring them along.
A light snack won’t be turned down either!!! We will be in 101/103 with the big kitchen available for the snacks and drinks, so the fabric doesn’t get dirty.
