A Note from Ms. Jess

Flu B week = teacher mom meltdown. 😅
But watching Lily, my middle-schooler, tackle schoolwork, independence, and even decimals while sick reminded me: Transitional Kindergarten gave her the skills to thrive—then and now. 💛

A (Short) Note from Ms. Jess

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year—the traditions, the food, the family time. This week our preschoolers have been busy talking about gratitude and creating the sweetest crafts to bring home. My favorite part? Seeing what little ones are thankful for at 3, 4, and 5… and how often “family” stays at the top of the list.
Hold onto those crafts—they’re reminders that your kids are grateful for you.

A Note from Ms. Jess

💛 Four years after Luke’s cancer diagnosis, today he went in for what we pray are his last scans. This journey has been full of hard moments—but also beauty, laughter, and grace. No matter what tomorrow brings, we’ll keep finding the good in the hard.

A Note From Ms. Jess

😅 Last week, I sent my daughter Lily off to middle school orientation. She was thrilled. I was… a mess.
Big feelings. Ugly crying. Anxiety. And yes, even a little “stalking” moment that made me look like a troll in the middle of the street. 🙈

Turns out, these milestone days — whether it’s preschool, middle school, or even college — bring out all the emotions in us parents. Pride, disbelief, heartache, joy… sometimes all at once.

The good news? God’s with our kids. God’s with us. Always.
