A legacy is an action or expression that you do today that will live on in the future. A legacy is sometimes referred to as a memory marker of your life. Everyone wants to have a life with meaning. Part of that meaningful life can be to live on in the memory of immediate family, relatives and friends. A good estate plan can certainly create a legacy for family and charity that gives a lasting memory.
Additioanlly, legacy gifts provide inspiration for others to pause and reflect on our values, blessings, memories and on experiences that we hold dear during our lifetime. A planned gift to benefit our church not only funds our ministries and missions for future generations, but also will inspire others to follow your lead.
