Kids Rock
Sundays 5-6:30 pm, for ages 4 years through grade 5
Music Program (September 8 – May 4, 2024/25): Join us for a musical journey filled with joy and learning! From September to May, our program provides a dynamic space for kids to explore the world of music. They’ll learn to sing together, play chimes (for the younger ones), and handbells. The culmination of their efforts is a chance to showcase their talents during worship services several times a semester, sharing the joy of music with the church family.
Important Dates (No Meetings):
- October 27: Trunk or Treat, Dress up and/or decorate your trunk!
- December 1: The Music of Christmas concert, 4 pm
- December 22: Christmas Caroling, 4 pm
- December 29: Winter Break
- January 19: Martin Luther King Jr, Holiday Weekend
- February 9: Superbowl Sunday
- February 16: President’s Day, Holiday Weekend
- April 20: Easter Sunday
Kids on a Mission: We believe in nurturing not only musical skills but also a sense of compassion and service. Several times during the semester, we take a break from music to engage in local mission projects. Past projects include baking dog biscuits, creating care bags for the homeless, making cards for homebound elderly, and more. It’s a chance for the kids to make a positive impact in their community and develop a heart for service.
