Youth Conference Event

APRIL 12-14, 2024

Kaleidoscope is a middle school-only weekend retreat that focuses on four holy habits to help youth grow closer to God: worship, prayer, service, and Bible study.

You’re invited to Kaleidoscope! Scripture tells us, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” (Isaiah 43:2-3a, NIV) In this space of learning to encounter God in new ways, youth will learn this from practices of encountering God.

Kaleidoscope also includes small groups, worship, camp activities like archery and canoeing, and the opportunity to connect to God in God’s creation!

Deadline for youth to register is March 22. Register here.

This is a North Carolina Conference Youth Event, sponsored by the NCCUMC, hosted at Camp Don Lee, and staffed by volunteers for our Conference Youth Ministry. But Soapstone adults, YOU can be one of those Conference Youth Ministry volunteers. The Adult Staff application is available at nccumc.org. The posted deadline is March 25, but please complete it early so you have time to do your Conference Safe Sanctuary training and get all the info you need from the Deans of Kaleidoscope.
