Kaleidoscope

Youth Conference Event

Kaleidoscope is a middle school-only weekend retreat that focuses on four holy habits to help youth grow closer to God: worship, prayer, service, and Bible study.

Join us for a fun weekend March 28-30!

2025 Theme: Built Upon the Rock
2025 Pastor-in-Residence: our very own Rev. Dr. Damion Quaye!

Have you felt like the world is pulling you in all different directions? Have you ever felt like the world is weighing you down and you are sinking into habits that are not good for you? Come discover a solid foundation in Christ as we explore 4 Holy Habits of living a good Christian life. Our trust is rooted on the rock of Jesus, and our foundation is secure.

Kaleidoscope is a middle school-only weekend retreat that focuses on four holy habits to help youth grow closer to God: worship, prayer, service, and Bible study.

Kaleidoscope also includes small groups, worship, camp activities like archery and canoeing, and the opportunity to connect to God in God’s creation!

2025 deadline for youth to register is February 28.

This is a North Carolina Conference Youth Event, sponsored by the NCCUMC, hosted at Camp Don Lee, and staffed by volunteers for our Conference Youth Ministry. But Soapstone adults, YOU can be one of those Conference Youth Ministry volunteers. The Adult Staff application is available at nccumc.org. The posted deadline is March 1, but please complete it early so you have time to do your Conference Safe Sanctuary training and get all the info you need from the Deans of Kaleidoscope.

The Adult Staff application is available at nccumc.org.
