Cub Scout Pack 399
This year-round program serves Kindergarten-5th grade. Pack 399 is chartered by Soapstone United Methodist Church. Our district is the North Star District and we belong to the Occoneechee Council. This local unit is called a pack and is led by a Cubmaster and an Assistant Cubmaster. The pack is divided into dens based on age and grade.
Kindergarten – Lions
1st Grade – Tigers
2nd Grade – Wolves
3rd Grade – Bears
4th Grade – Webelos I (We‘ll be loyal scouts)
5th Grade – Arrow of Light Webelos
Den meetings are twice a month and Pack meetings are once a month, at Soapstone.
We also meet twice a year for campouts, hold a Pinewood Derby, participate in food drives, carol at retirement homes, and more. We even meet over the summer for a pool party, Rocketry day, Bulls baseball games, and every other year we camp on the USS Yorktown.
We strive to have fun in learning the scout way and following the Motto…”Do Your Best” We do many fun monthly activities as well as service projects in the community. While having fun, serving the community, and doing our best, we learn to follow the Scout Law and Oath.
