General Conference

Soapstone members, Danny Peck and Susan Graebe, served as lay delegates during the postponed 2020 UMC General Conference. Elected by the North Carolina Annual Conference in 2019, Danny and Susan met monthly for four years with other NC lay and clergy delegates to prepare for this worldwide gathering. It was held at the Charlotte NC Convention Center on April 23 – May 3, 2024.
