Soapstone’s Cantata Choir and Orchestra will present, From “Amazing Love! Recalling Christ’s Sacrifice” music by Lloyd Larson adn Joel Raney during the 8:30 and 11:00 am worship services on April 13.
Jesus’ profound love for others defined His life and ministry. Yet, as His time on earth drew to a close, many doubted His message. Amazing Love! leads us on a moving journey to the cross, retracing the final hours of Christ’s life. This inspiring worship experience for Lent and Holy Week masterfully weaves together original and beloved melodies in a dramatic and stirring way. Both congregations and performers will be deeply moved by the powerful truths of Christ expressed through passionate music and scripture-based narration. Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were a present far too small; love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all!
