Carved in Stone:

A Biblical Exploration of the Hard Stuff
A New Bible Study Series at Soapstone UMC
Some truths feel heavy. Some conversations make us uncomfortable. But the Gospel calls us not to comfort—but to courage, truth, and love.

“Carved in Stone: A Biblical Exploration of the Hard Stuff”
is a bold new Bible study series that tackles the issues many churches shy away from—poverty, racism, women in church leadership, human sexuality, inequality, and more. Each session invites us to confront these complex topics through the lens of Scripture, guided by grace, humility, and a commitment to building a Christ-centered community.

This is not about easy answers. It’s about honest dialogue, biblical exploration, and spiritual growth.

Sign up HERE if you would like to participate. This study will begin on July 7, 6:30 pm on Teams, and run for several weeks.
