Breakaway

We invite you to come to Summer Breakaway, a weeklong summer event for youth COMPLETING the 6th-12th grade.

Youth 6th-12th grade across the NCCUMC are invited to a weeklong camp at Louisburg College. You’ll spend intentional time in worship, growth groups, legislative affairs (voting on resolutions for change), mission projects, games, and more! Highlights of the week include: Campwide dance, staff vs camper basketball and volleyball competitions, Talent Show, CYC officer elections, and a very special closing communion service on Friday night. Our theme for 2025 is “Wonder in the Desert” exploring the ways God is at work in the chaos and uncertainties of life even when we may feel like it’s too much.

We are using the NC Conference registration system for this event, so you can complete your registration here.

This is a North Carolina Conference Youth Event, sponsored by the NCCUMC, hosted at Louisburg College, and staffed by volunteers for our Conference Youth Ministry. But Soapstone adults, YOU can be one of those Conference Youth Ministry volunteers. The Adult Staff application is available at nccumc.org. The posted deadline is June 9, but please complete it early so you have time to do your Conference Safe Sanctuary training and get all the info you need from the Deans of Breakaway.
