This is always a favorite at SUMC and a time to come together in fellowship and service.

Fall BBQ Sale – October 9, 2026!

Our next Fall BBQ Sale is Friday, October 9, from 11 am–1 pm and 4–7 pm! Sponsored by our United Methodist Men, this bi-annual fundraiser is always a favorite at SUMC, serving up delicious BBQ for lunch and dinner while bringing our church together for fellowship and service.

NEW this year: Park & Play from 5–6 pm! Families and everyone in the community are invited to purchase BBQ dinner and stay awhile! Enjoy your meal together at the picnic tables while kids play on the playground. Parents and guardians, please plan to stay and supervise your children. It’s a fun opportunity to enjoy good food, fellowship, and playtime together!

We need your help to make it happen! All youth and adults are invited to volunteer—whether preparing banana pudding, serving lunch or dinner, setting up, cleaning up, or helping in another way. Come out, have fun, and serve together! Sign up to volunteer here.

Friday pick-up hours:
11:00 am-1:00 pm: BBQ tubs @ $9 ea; banana pudding @ $4 and coleslaw tubs @ $3.00
4:00-7:00 pm: full plates (choice of BBQ pork or chicken with an extra helping of green beans, small potatoes, and a roll) @ $11 ea; tubs of BBQ or 2 pcs chicken @ $9 ea; tubs of banana pudding $4 and cole slaw (while they last) also available for $3 ea.
