It’s Back To School Time!
SUMC supports Baileywick Elementary School as part of an ongoing community outreach. A large portion of this school’s population is economically challenged and our support helps the students and the staff in many ways. Collecting school supplies is one of the ways we have supported this school for several years. The supply list is organized by grade level. In the past, some have shopped for a specific grade level in honor of a child in their life going into that grade! Others have chosen items and purchased multiples of those that are common across the grade levels. It’s up to you, there are no rules!
Read the full list of school supplies here and swing by Walmart, Target, Office Depot, or wherever your favorite place is to shop for supplies. There will be a bin in the Narthex where you can drop your donations off any day of the week or even on Sunday mornings before or after worship August 6 – 20.
