Ash Wednesday
February 18, 2026A treasured United Methodist hymn begins, “Sunday’s palms are Wednesday’s Ashes.” On Ash Wednesday, we use ashes made from the previous year’s palms from Palm Sunday as a material means of confronting our own mortality and confessing our sin before God within the community of faith in light of God’s redeeming love in Jesus Christ.
Walk-Up Ashes February 18, 7-9:30 am, Sidewalk in front of Norwood Entrance
Our ministry team will offer ashes and prayer in front of the Norwood entrance to anyone who would like to receive them. Please park and walk up.
