You’ll find Katie involved in many areas at Soapstone. She began her journey with SUMC in 2010, working in the nursery and as the Sexton, but has since expanded her roles on staff. During the week, she now serves as our Communications Coordinator and Financial Secretary.
A member of Soapstone since 2010, Katie actively participates in children and youth activities like Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, Kids Rock, and Youth Mission trips. She is also part of our Thursday night Bible study and helps coordinate the Women’s Ministry.
To Katie, SUMC is like a second home for her family, and she deeply values her church community. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family, whether relaxing on their screened-in porch or playing games. She is married to Greg, a long-time church member, and they have three children who have also been very active at SUMC over the years.
