Contact Blair

Blair Roberts will be stepping in as the Interim Director of Children and Family Ministries. This will provide steady leadership, volunteer support, and keep our children growing in faith at Soapstone UMC. 

Blair has been a member at Soapstone since 2011 and has served as a volunteer in Children’s Ministry for over a decade – serving as the Vacation Bible School Coordinator, Sunday School teacher, and MomCo leader. 

She graduated from Meredith College and worked in Human Resources for 10 years in the family business. After starting her family, Blair chose to step away from her career to become a stay-at-home mom. She considers those years some of the most meaningful and formative of her life. During that season, she was able to be deeply involved in her children’s lives, volunteer in their schools, and become increasingly involved in the life of the church. What began as a season focused on raising her own children grew into a passion for serving children, supporting families, and helping create a place where children can grow in their faith.

Blair is married to Scott and is the proud mom of 2 who are active participants in the church’s youth and children’s programs. When she is not at church, she enjoys spending time with her family, ubering her children to their various extracurricular activities, volunteering at her children’s schools, and traveling – especially to the beach!
