SUMC’s Missions Committee, Prison Ministry, and Carolina Rebuilding Ministry have partnered to support Clarine’s House in Windsor, NC—a transitional housing ministry serving individuals who are justice-involved.

Erik Parker, founder of Clarine’s House, will share a ministry moment about the home and his IMPRESS program during both services on May 3. He will also be available during the Sunday School hour for those who would like to learn more.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers from Soapstone and Carolina Rebuilding Ministries, the home has been fully renovated and is ready to open. A soft launch will be held on May 1 at 11:00 am at 109 Doe Lane in Windsor. All are welcome to attend, and light refreshments will be served.

Donations are still needed to help furnish the home. If you would like to contribute, please consider purchasing items from the ministry’s wishlist found here.
