3rd Quarter Stewardship Update (2025)

Thank you for continuing to support the mission and ministry of Soapstone UMC through your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Your generosity and faithfulness sustain the life and outreach of our church—and we are deeply grateful.
Where We Are
As of the end of the third quarter, total income to date is $674,911, and total expenses are $666,802. We have received 66% of pledged giving for 2025 and $181,345.57 in non-pledged giving. Since we are 80% of the way through 2025, that means that our pledged giving is lower than we hope for it to be at this point in the year. While we anticipate increased giving in December, we wanted to make you aware of this current reality. We truly appreciate your commitment to fulfilling your pledged giving to this faith community!
How Your Gifts Make a Difference
Every dollar you give helps make ministry possible. Here are just a few examples from this year:
- Printing & Copier Maintenance: $5,050 — keeping our ministries communicating and connected.
- Building Care & Safety: $3,572 — ensuring a clean, welcoming, and safe space for all who gather.
- Utilities: $13,942 — keeping the lights on, the rooms cool, and the doors open for ministry.
- Missional Outreach: $5,500 — supporting hands-on service and sharing Christ’s love beyond our walls.
- Children’s & Youth Discipleship: $5,339.83 for children and $4,395 for youth — helping young hearts grow in faith.
- Music & Worship Resources: $5,385 — resourcing our 12 musical groups who lead us in joyful praise.
- Technology: $16,600 — supporting sound, streaming, and tools that help us stay connected and share the Gospel.
