Finance Assistant (15–20 Hours Per Week)
The Finance Assistant serves as a trusted liaison between Soapstone United Methodist Church, Trinity Concepts, church staff, and the Finance Committee in all matters pertaining to the church’s financial resources. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring the timely fulfillment of financial obligations, and delivering clear, reliable financial reporting to church leadership. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to supporting the church’s mission and ministry.

Director of Children and Family Ministries (15-20 Hours Per Week)
Soapstone UMC is a congregation of curious, engaged, affirming, and service-oriented disciples in northwest Raleigh, and our children’s ministry is one of the most joyful expressions of who we are. The Director of Children and Family Ministries leads a vibrant ministry with children, from infancy through age 11, building the kinds of relationships that help the youngest among us experience the good news that they are known, loved, and called by God. This role is about more than programming: it’s about accompanying children and their families on the journey of faith—through the wonder, the questions, and the ordinary days—helping them discover what it means to belong to God and to one another.

Preschool Director (30 Hours Per Week)
The Preschool Director provides leadership and oversight for all aspects of the Soapstone UMC Preschool, including daily operations, staff supervision, family communication, enrollment management, budgeting, curriculum support, and program growth. The Director works closely with church leadership, preschool staff, and families to ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality early childhood experience that reflects the mission and values of Soapstone United Methodist Church.
