Pastor Suzanne will preach: “Wisdom Calling”
Today Wisdom calls us… she calls to all living to hear her voice and live. The book of Proverbs is considered what Biblical scholars call “Wisdom Literature”. It is interesting to think about how Wisdom calls us – God calls us
Remembering some of the hard stories in the Bible, join us as Pastor Suzanne helps us to see how we continue to seek Wisdom in our lives of today as we revisit some of the hard/wise choices that were made so very long ago.
Father’s Day Biscuit Bar: Join us at 9:45 am in the Narthex for a delicious Biscuit Bar in celebration of Father’s Day! Come enjoy a variety of tasty biscuits with all the fixings—there’s something for everyone. It’s a great opportunity to honor the dads and father figures in our lives while spending time with our church family. Everyone is welcome!
Special Offering: Welcoming a Refugee Family
Soapstone UMC is honored to sponsor a Syrian refugee family who arrived in Raleigh in September 2024. We’ve helped them settle into housing, school, and job support. A special offering will be collected through Sunday, June 22.
