For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Matthew 25:35-36

Leonard and Priscilla Fairley Missions Endowment Fund

This fund has been established in honor of Bishop Leonard Fairley, previous pastor of Soapstone UMC, and in memory of his wife, Priscilla Fairley. Each year, proceeds from the fund will go to missions which support children’s education and work to eliminate homelessness and hunger. You are invited to contribute to the fund through our online giving or by sending a check to the church office marked for the Fairley Missions Fund. The principle of the fund will always remain invested and 20% of the annual earnings will be reinvested into the fund. The remaining earnings of 80% will be used to support the mission focus previously mentioned.

If you would like more information, please contact Gretchen Shea, Director of Discipleship and Missions.
